“I woke up today feeling really proud of the SES Group team that delivered the Firework Festival at Alexandra Palace and Park over the last 2 days. I had the honour of being in the event control for 2 days, watching the team of Managers, Supervisors, Control Room Operators, Response Officers, Security and Stewards keep attendees safe. It was great to hear the praise and positive comments directed at the teams performance, from not only our client Alexandra Palace but also from the independent audit team engaged by the client to audit the security and stewarding activities on site… one comment…

SES 25th Anniversary

On Monday 30th October, SES Group celebrated its 25th anniversary. What better way to mark the occasion than with a surprise party for Managing Director and Owner Tony Ball. Over 100 employees, clients, contractors, friends and family joined us at the Manor of Groves Hotel, Golf & Country Club for an evening of celebration over what has been a brilliant 25 years. Long service awards were presented to a number of employees, some of whom have been with us over 20 years! We cannot do it without you all. The evening was magnificently organised by Nicole Ball & Glen Ball who ensured that fun was had by all….

Canute Howard

SES Group is pleased to introduce you to the latest addition to our Event Management Team, Mr Canute Howard, better known as Ken. Ken has been an integral part of SES Group for many years, amassing a wealth of experience during his tenure. Following his successful completion of the QNUK Level 5 Award in Crowd Safety Management with The Square Metre Group, the moment arrived to officially acknowledge his achievements by presenting him his black jacket. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ken on his significant milestone in his career and wish him continued success and growth on his professional journey.

Madonna & Fatboy Slim

Last week, SES Group bid farewell to Madonna, who delivered an electrifying performance during the inaugural leg of her world tour. We cannot wait to welcome her back for the two remaining shows in December. Additionally, SES Group were entrusted to welcome the new EE at their promotional event held at Alexandra Palace and Park. The event featured a breath-taking display of the world’s largest hologram set against the iconic London skyline, showcasing a performance by none other than Fatboy Slim.

Dynamic Weekend in the Capital

SES Group successfully executed a dynamic weekend of event operations within the capital city. Our achievements included overseeing the third and final instalment of the National Football League (NFL) International Series, in which the Baltimore Ravens emerged victorious against the Tennessee Titans at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club Stadium. We were entrusted to manage backstage and floor security for the kick-off of Madonna’s highly anticipated World Tour at The O2. Furthermore, SES Group played a pivotal role by delivering front-of-house services at Alexandra Palace and Park for the Yoga Show. An hour was spent, chatting and catching up over a cuppa and cookie before taking part in some light-hearted quizzing and games.
