Overview	We are looking for positive, outgoing individuals to undertake the role of Event Steward which is an integral part of our Event Teams. As an Event Steward you would be dealing with members of the public at various events and venues. Ensuring they not only have a safe and enjoyable experience but a memorable one to. Some venues may require you to hold certain qualifications or to have completed additional training. We, at the SES Group, will provide this training as we are dedicated to the positive development and progression of all of our staff. Salary Band/Pay Rate	• A minimum hourly rate of £11.20 per hour (comprising a pay rate of £10 and indicative holiday pay of £1.20) and a maximum hourly rate of £12.38 per hour (comprising a pay rate of £11.05 and indicative holiday pay of £1.33). Holiday pay is indicative because it is accrued at 12.07% for every hour worked in accordance with your average pay rate over the previous 52 worked weeks. If you work at a different rate the pay and holiday pay will change accordingly • Plenty of shift availability with the flexibility to choose your own shifts and work around your existing commitments on our casual contract.

Purpose of Role	The post holder will be expected to support their team and the business in achieving the SES Values in their day to day work by being: • Professional in approach • Proactive and innovative • Proud of our client services • Putting the safety of the public first • Promoting and growing our business and personnel This role is responsible for: providing a professional, proactive, courteous service for those attending events, venues, designated locations by providing and maintaining a safe environment, responding to emergencies efficiently and assisting the emergency services as required. Adherence to Health & Safety standards and site briefings and following guidelines, ensuring that public and client needs are met.
Duties & Key Responsibilities	Provide excellent customer service / care. Assist in carrying out pre-event checks. Attend pre-event briefings and be familiar with location layout, facilitates and emergency procedures. Assist with ticket checking, queue management and aid in ensuring an even flow of members of the public in to the event / venue. Monitor crowds for any signs of disturbance, incidents and overcrowding. Respond and assist with any emergency situation as required that may arise.

Key Competencies	Candidates must be 18 years old or over
Qualifications	Customer Service (not required but preferred) Action Counter Terrorism (training provided) NVQ2 in Spectator Safety or Understanding Spectator Safety at Events (training provided)
