BUPA HALF MARATHON

On the 16th October the SES Group were in attendance at one of the largest races in the calendar year.  The SES Group were asked to deploy over 200 staff across Birmingham City Centre to help with the smooth running of the event. In excess of 20,000 runners as well as several thousand supporters and spectators made this a very high profile event to cover.

The SES Group’s main roles throughout the event consisted of road closures, start line and finish line stewards as well as security on the infrastructure. The client was very happy with the service provided and over the course of the event in excess of £3m was raised for charity. A great day had by all.
