Adidas City Run

On the 8th October, thousands of runners took to the streets of Shoreditch for the inaugural 10k run. Starting and finishing in Shoreditch Park, the runners completed the adventurous course running through sites such as Hoxton Street Market and De Beauvoir Square. The SES Group were on hand across the full length of the course to provide a range of Crowd Management and Security services. The winner posted a very impressive time of 33 minutes and 11 seconds. The event ran very smoothly and you can already pre-book for next year!

V Festival 2017

V Festival 2017 took place on the weekend between 19-20 August in the usual locations of Chelmsford and Staffordshire. The SES Group were, once again, contracted to provide the Security and Crowd Management at Hylands Park, Chelmsford. The SES Group provided hundreds of staff in the form of Stewards, Pit Teams, Supervisors and Managers amongst others. IAAF World Athletics Championships

The 2017 IAAF World Athletics Championships were the 16th addition of the World Athletics Championships. The Championships were held at the London Stadium between 4-13 August 2017. The SES Group were contracted to provide security and crowd management both inside the stadium and outside the stadium in the form of traffic management. These World Championships enhanced the SES Groups reputation at the London Stadium and around Stratford. Ferrari 70th Anniversary

On Saturday 22nd July, tens of thousands of people took to the streets in places including: Bond Street, Colchester High Street and Maldon High Street. 108 cars valued at over £52 million covered 1.8 miles from the first car of the parade to the finish. The most expensive car on the day was a 250SWB and other cars included a 250 GTE, 458 SpecialeA, F12 TDF, F40, F50, LaFerrari and LaFerrari Aperta. Formula 1 Live London

On Wednesday 12 July, building up to this weekend’s British Grand Prix, ‘Formula One Live’ entertained the crowds in central London hoping to make Formula One more accessible to the fans. A host of Formula 1 stars descended on Trafalgar Square for a spectacular show featuring super-fast cars, live music and thousands of fans. The afternoon featured meet and greets with the biggest names in the sport, celebrity appearances behind the wheel and a headline performance from the biggest girl band on the planet – Little Mix. This event was a perfect prequel to the main attraction at Silverstone this weekend.

Pride London 2017

On Saturday 8th July 2017 the streets of London turned multi-coloured to celebrate Pride 2017. Pride London is one of the biggest in Europe. More than 26,000 people took to the streets, part of 300 different groups, in the biggest march in the event’s 45-year history. The 1.4 mile route began at 1pm in Portland Place, and passed through Oxford Circus and Regent Street, before ending at Whitehall. Robbie Williams

Robbie Williams recently finished the UK leg of his Heavy Entertainment Show Tour, finishing in Stratford on 23 June. Robbie also played shows in Cardiff, Coventry and Southampton. Robbie now sets off on the European Leg of the tour. Aegon Championships

Billed as the ATP World Tour 500 Tournament of the Year, the Aegon Tennis Championships were held this year between 19th-25th June. Heightened Security at Isle of Wight Festival

The Isle of Wight festival 2017 ran from the 8-11 June 2017, and fell on the same weekend as Wildlife, effectively marking the beginning of the festival season. The SES Group have provided a variety of Crowd Management services to the festival since 2005. Wildlife Festival

On Friday 9th and Saturday 10th June 2017, the SES Group provided the crowd management for Wildlife Festival in Brighton. This was one of two Festivals the SES Group provided for over the weekend, the other being the Isle of Wight Festival. A large and mixed crowd gathered to watch their favourite artists perform, with the headlining acts being Jess Glynne and Dizzy Rascal.
