Capital Summertime Ball 2017

On Saturday 10th June 2017, the SES Group was back at Wembley Stadium for the Summertime Ball providing a range of Crowd Management and Stewarding services. This marked a busy weekend for the SES Group, as we were also at the Isle of Wight Festival and Wildlife. A capacity crowd took in the glorious as headline acts Little Mix and Bruno Mars, among several others, took to the stage to perform some of the most well-known songs in the current charts. Train Naming Ceremony

On Friday 2nd June, a number of SES Employees assisted in a Train Naming Ceremony for London Midland at Watford Junction Station. The train has been named after Graham Taylor OBE, an English football player, manager, pundit and chairman of Watford Football Club. This train service will call at Watford Junction, Aston, Wolverhampton and Wembley Central. It is the Third train that the company has named.

Crowd Management for the Harry Potter Bus

The SES Group have been providing crowd management for London Midland passengers to the Warner Brother Studios via the Harry Potter bus at Watford Junction Train Station. Here the SES Group ensure public safety on their journey to and from the studio via the bus service.

London Marathon

On Sunday 23rd April, the London Marathon 2017 took place with the race starting from three separate points before finishing alongside St James’s Palace. A large, family orientated crowd took in the event as it unfolded and were treated to a fantastic day out. The winners of the Marathon were Daniel Wanjiru and Mary Keitany respectively. The SES Group successfully delivered a range of services throughout the day with clients and spectators alike left pleased with how the day unfolded.

Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars has completed four shows at the prestigious, world renowned O2 arena in London. The O2 arena was the 10th stop on the 24k Magic World Tour and the SES Group were, once again, delighted to be a part of the experience. A sizeable and diverse crowd took in the entertainment across the four nights with the SES Group successfully delivering a range of services. The client and artist were left happy as always.

Network Rail

The SES Group are delighted to announce that we have become a preferred national supplier for Network Rail, providing Network Rail with a range of security and customer services. The SES Group are able to train all employees in house, providing them with all the information they require to be successful in working for both Network Rail and the SES Group. Drake

Over the last few months, Drake has lit up the O2 with some stellar performances. Across February and March Drake played 8 sold out shows to a variety crowd. The SES Group were fortunate to be a part of the experience. All shows ran according to plan and the client and public were left happy at the end.

Queen’s Baton Relay

On the 13th March, the SES Group had the honour of being at Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Baton Relay in London. The Queen’s baton is on a 388-day relay covering more than 140,000 miles and will visit every Commonwealth nation on its way to the Games, being hosted by the Australian Gold Coast in 2018.

The Brit Awards

On the 22nd February the SES Group were at the O2 for The Brit Awards 2017. A high profile guest list and performance list meant a lot of interest in the event. Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry and Coldplay were among the performers on the night. The event ran smoothly and everyone had a good time on the night.

On the 31st December, the SES Group were in London for the celebrations for New Years Eve along the River Thames. This culminated in a firework display at midnight. A mixed crowd saw in the New Year and an enjoyable time was had by all.
