New CDP Release
The Academy is releasing the revised Career Development Pathway (CDP) today (02/10/2017).
This applies to all SES employees (new recruits, stewards, security and DS).

Please get familiar with the information and refer to the academy where necessary for clarity.
If you are a Supervisor you will be required to complete Stages 1, 2 and 3. Please ensure you have done this as it may affect your ability to continue working as a Supervisor for the SES Group if you do not complete these Stages. The Academy are currently designing a Supervisor development pathway. You will be informed of this in due course. For all development needs refer to the academy and the academy can support you in meeting your immediate needs.
In short –
The revised CDP is easier to understand, there are fewer courses to complete to enable a (bigger than before) pay increase and employees can access/book training directly through the academy.
Supervisor development is due for release shortly and the academy can support you in meeting their needs until the release date.
Payrates are set out in the email information sent to all employees and are subject to contractual and geographical variants. Further information is available by request from the academy.
On successful completion of training courses, please email your certificate to the Academy on firstname.lastname@example.org. On receiving your successful course completion details the LMS Manager will enrol you onto the next course in your ‘Stage’.
