Something Got Me Started!

 

Simply Red played at the Chelmsford City Racecourse on July 1st 2016 as part of their 30 year tour. They took to the stage in Essex for the first time ever, kick starting the live Summer Nights music events in 2016.

With over 60 million sales worldwide, and one in five British households owning a Simply Red album, the band’s most popular records include Picture Book, Men and Women, A New Flame, Stars, Life and Blue.
The SES Group were a major presence on this special night, with 153 staff deployed for a mixed audience of 8000 people. That evening, we took over the in house security for the clubhouse and after show party on the clients request.

This is the second time we have worked on an event at this venue with the client very happy with the service we delivered and going beyond what was asked for. Due to the quality of the staff there is a opportunity to take a 24/7 security contract at the venue, further gaining a recognised presence in the Essex area.
