Duke & Duchess Coventry Cathedral Visit – Security
The SES Group provided security services for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s visit to Coventry Cathedral.
On Tuesday 16th January, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Coventry Cathedral in a highly publicised event, 4,000 people encompassing families and school children were keen to see the royal couple.
The Duke and Duchess were visiting as part of a double celebration to congratulate Coventry on becoming the new UK City of Culture and Coventry University’s new Science and Health Building.
The visit included a walkabout in the Cathedral Ruins. They then continued onto Coventry Cathedral and finally the Positive Youth Foundation.
43 staff were present to carry out crowd management and security roles, with the integrity of the event paramount, the day ran smoothly and efficiently.
