The Marking of Midnight – Welcoming 2016!
The Mayor of London’s spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks display takes place on the River Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament.
Its one of the most anticipated events of the NYE celebrations set against the London Skyline. To make the event a safe fun night for all, ticketing was introduced in 2014 and was ticketed again this year, due to increasing crowd numbers.
The ticket format wasn’t liked by all, but it did reduce the crowds that built up in Central London and all those with a ticket had a guaranteed view of the display in a more controlled and safer environment.
The SES Group employed over 1,000 staff that evening and planned detailed operational procedures for public movement along a designated walkway into primary and secondary viewing areas.
This event just gets more popular, with over 150,000 people in attendance this year in, buy your tickets now to avoid disappointment!
