The SES Group worked with the St Patricks Day Parade through the streets of Birmingham this year, to ensure a fun and safe day was had by all. E Learning with the SES Academy

In April this year, The SES Group signed up to an E Learning contract with TSN (The Skills Network) which will revolutionise training within the company. This forward thinking initiative is a big step towards bringing elements of training online that do not necessarily need to be taught in the classroom. Adopting this approach will allow applicants to complete their initial training remotely thereby reducing the requirement for them to attend training before they are actually employed by the company. Following on from the induction training will be an NVQ 2 qualification in stewarding which can be completed after the employee has…

The Marking of Midnight – Welcoming 2016!

The Mayor of London’s spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks display takes place on the River Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament. Its one of the most anticipated events of the NYE celebrations set against the London Skyline. To make the event a safe fun night for all, ticketing was introduced in 2014 and was ticketed again this year, due to increasing crowd numbers. The ticket format wasn’t liked by all, but it did reduce the crowds that built up in Central London and all those with a ticket had a guaranteed view of the display in a more controlled and safer…
