The 40th annual Brit Awards was held at the O2 arena on the 18th February 2020. This was the 10th time the Awards were hosted there. The client, Papilo Production, was very happy with the successful delivery of the event. The SES Group organised security and crowd management, including barriers and viewing areas for Stephen Hawking’s funeral. On the 31st March, the funeral of Stephen Hawking took place Great St Mary’s Church, Cambridge. Crowds lined the streets to pay their final respects to the much admired scientist and a spontaneous round of applause broke out as six porters from the physicist’s former college carried his coffin from the hearse into the church.
